English for Asia

For nearly three decades, English for Asia (EfA) has provided internationally qualified native English-speaking teachers (NETs) that have been approved by the education department to teach in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools across Macao. Since 2001, we have collaborated with more than half of the schools in the territory. 

Our teachers deliver structured, scalable, curriculum‑aligned English programmes that are designed to complement, strengthen and support each school’s existing English framework. 

Our approach is clear: 

• Language skills are taught in context. 
• Communication is developed through structured practise. 
• Grammar and pronunciation are embedded within real-life contexts. 
• Measurable progression is targeted across all levels. 

By adopting this approach, students do not simply complete activities or repeat phrases by rote; they build fluency in “natural” English, they develop confidence and they participate more actively in English conversation. 

From early language development in kindergarten to academic and real‑world communication at secondary level, EfA delivers programmes that are structured and delivered for long‑term impact.
