David joined our teacher training team two years ago and has delivered courses for Kindergarten and Primary teachers on a diverse range of topics including play-based learning, motivating young learners, phonics, communicative TESOL methodology and teaching English language systems to young learners. He is also a part of our curriculum development team and has a leading role in designing our young learner curriculums. David has ten years’ experience in the TESOL field in Korea, Vietnam and Macao. He has taught in a range of settings, ages and proficiency levels, including university, banking academy, middle and elementary schools. In his free time, David enjoys expanding his knowledge in Law, Politics and Policymaking through online courses. He has also worked as a freelance writer and editor for various organisations and a magazine. His knowledge of other languages, including French, Spanish, Korean and Vietnamese, equips him to recognise the needs and challenges in learning English. David holds an Honors Degree, PGCE and a TESOL Certificate. |

Felisita started her teaching career over thirty years ago in a secondary school in Macao. Since then, she has taught a wide range of young learners and adults within the community.
Felisita joined the English for Asia teacher training team in December 2021 and brought with her a wealth of teaching and training experience. In her current role, she provides academic support to the teacher training department, teaches workplace English in the corporate sector and general English to adults, and tutors one-to-one lessons for a range of clients. Throughout her academic career, Felisita has served as an English instructor at the University of St. Joseph (USJ) and the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT). At the Macau Polytechnic Institute (IPM), she taught English for Specific Purposes. In addition, she taught TESOL methodology workshops to schoolteachers. Felisita is passionate about teaching and is committed to enabling students to reach their potential. Her engaging and supportive training style sets her students on a path to success. Aside from teaching, Felisita is dedicated to charity work and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys travelling, reading, gardening and meeting new people. Felisita holds a Master’s degree in Education, is TESOL certified and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. In addition to English, she speaks six other languages. |

Ana started her teaching career in 2013 as an English language instructor in China before moving to Macao to work for English for Asia in 2017. She has wide ranging teaching experience that includes kindergarten, primary, junior high school, Immersion English, Business English, ESP and online teaching.
Ana’s first experience training teachers came whist working in China, where she provided assistance to some teachers in lesson structure and planning within her organisation. She also worked as a Freelance Trainer and guided local teachers on TESOL methodology techniques, effective lesson planning and staging skills. Her work as a trainer saw her go on to teach a workshop for the Zhuhai Bureau of Education. Since moving to Macao, Ana has been actively involved in our Peer Observation Scheme, which includes evaluating lessons taught by her colleagues and she recently led our “Tools, Techniques and Activities in the Kindergarten Classroom” PDAC/CEDP Course. |
